ABOUT EVY
Hi, I'm Evy — the yoga teacher who laughs during her own classes and occasionally forgets her left from her right.
My yoga journey started over ten years ago with a stiff back and too many hours at a desk. I didn't plan to become a teacher. I just wanted to move and understand what this whole yoga thing was actually about. Then in 2019 I did my first 200-hour teacher training in Thailand — and everything shifted.
It was there that I received my first reiki session. And after the training ended, I went to my first sound bath. Both changed something. I came home knowing I wanted to go deeper, and I never really stopped. Since then I've trained in Vinyasa, Yin, Yoga Therapy, Pilates, Sound Healing, Reiki and more — over 800 hours and counting. Not to collect certificates, but because I'm genuinely, endlessly curious about these practices and what they can do for people.
Originally from Belgium, I spent eleven years in Cologne before swapping grey skies for sunshine and sea air in Palma de Mallorca. I've taught in studios, on beaches, at festivals, on retreats — in English, German, and slowly but surely, Spanish. I’ve learned that yoga is not about perfection, but about showing up and exploring your own journey. And through all of it, one thing has stayed the same: I believe these tools — yoga, sound, reiki — aren't luxuries. They're how you navigate life without losing yourself.
STUDIO OASIS
In April 2026, something I'd been quietly dreaming about became real: I opened my own studio in Palma.
Studio Oasis is a welcoming space for yoga, sound baths, reiki and movement, for complete beginners and people who've been practicing for years. It was born from a simple belief: that yoga is a toolbox for daily life, not just something you do on a mat a few times a week.
What I want most is for people to walk in and feel at ease. To leave their phone in their bag. To move, breathe, rest, connect — and just have a good time. No performance, no pressure. Just a little pocket of calm in the middle of the city.
If you're ever in Palma, come say hi.

ABOUT WORK IN PROGRESS YOGA
Work in Progress Yoga isn't just a name — it's a reminder. That growth is messy and non-linear. That showing up matters more than getting it right. That you're allowed to wobble.
This isn't a space for perfection. It's a space for presence. Whether you're moving through a vinyasa flow, melting into a sound bath, figuring out how to breathe through a busy day, or lying on a reiki table not quite sure what to expect — you're welcome exactly as you are. Overflowing calendar, busy mind and all. It's not about touching your toes or having it all together; it’s about meeting yourself with curiosity, compassion, and maybe even a bit of humor.
I believe in the science behind these practices. I also believe in the stuff that can't always be explained. Mostly I believe in showing up, doing the work, and having a bit of fun along the way.
